Overview

GTM Sportswear is looking for a new team member to join our team! This position is responsible for selling GTM products to customers who contact GTM through inbound calls, web, chat and social media. Will also be contributing to assigned individual revenue goals and targets, as well as District and Regional areas. Will have significant customer interaction to help contribute to excellent customer satisfaction results.

Responsibilities
  • Generates revenue by selling to customers through inbound customer activity.
  • Provides complete and timely follow-up on all qualified leads, and transfers leads to Sales Territory Reps, as required.
  • Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with customers through excellent customer service.
  • Stays current and knowledgeable on all GTM products, email, and correspondence.
  • Consistently drives for results by communicating effectively amongst all team members and departments.
  • Stays logged into phone system as assigned to handle inbound call volume.
  • Ensures all customer data is kept current and accurate via prescribed software and/or paperwork filing systems, and writes customer orders.
  • Sells products at established prices or established mark-ups unless an exception is approved by the manager.
  • Meets or exceeds established goals as decided upon by the representative and manager.
  • Works overtime in peak demand periods or as needed. Manages non-call work load in off-peak times of assigned work day.
  • Must be flexible to shift to Support or Service roles when customer needs require.
  • Works with all departments, and all employees to uphold company values of: Player, Team and Winning.
  • Upholds and contributes to GTM’s service goals by making “service personal” for every customer during every interaction and process.
  • Leads by example by actively supporting our vision and mission statement.
  • Provides training and assistance to new team members as needed.
  • Completes position specific training plan, and engages in continuous development utilizing a developmental plan.
  • Completes other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of related sales experienced preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), knowledge of CRM tools preferred.
  • Experience in Salesforce a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable with a team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as being coachable.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to fast paced environment
