Receiving Job Description: - Prepares laboratory specimens for designated departments/locations prior to laboratory analysis and testing.
- Unpacks specimens from branches or ports and routes specimens by type to various staging areas.
- Prepares all specimens received for testing in designated laboratory departments or locations such as staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears.
- Prepares excess specimen samples for storage and resolves and document problem specimens. Work Environment: Retail site - office based
Lab on site
3rd shift: Monday-Friday 7:00PM - 3:30AM, alternating Saturdays Qualifications: Must Haves:
- 1-2 years of experience handling samples
- Strong customer service experience in retail setting Performance Expectations: Performance Expectations: the employee will be measured on accurate their testing samples are. Interview Information: Typing Test, Manager will review typing test. As long as the candidate performs well on Typing test it will be a hire off of the resume. Additional Compensation: 1.5 x OT
