Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical assemblers are responsible for building heating units. Responsibilities include, basic hand tool use, power tools, air tools, riveting sheet metal together, lifting components in place in the units with a team of other assemblers, working off blueprints, and working in a team environment.

Candidate will be on their knees, bending over, crouching, and in weird positions assembling the big units.

1st Shift 6am-2pm

2nd shift 2pm-10pm

Pay: $14.00-$16.00

Location: Minneapolis/Brooklyn Park BUSLINE

90 day CONTRACT TO UNION

Job Duties:

Candidates will be assembly large industrial units off blueprints, working with various different types of hand tools/power tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, lifting 30lbs-70lbs, and etc. You could be assembling kneeling, crouching, bending over, climbing on a ladder, and in various positions.

Must Have:

6+ Months of blueprint reading background

6+ Months of Mechanical Assembly experience

6+ Months experience working with power tools/hand tools

Must be willing to submit to drug test and background check
