The Merchandise Processor in the Value Added Services (VAS) Department is an entry-level position that is responsible for the manual support of handling merchandise throughout the Value Added Services process. This may include recording, marking, cutting, serging, sewing, pressing, and folding/bagging. Responsibilities Verify item number, color, size and quantity of all merchandise Identify and document correct measurements from invoices to merchandise Mark appropriate lengths on special service pants utilizing rulers and chalk coloring Cut special service pants at the appropriate length by following documented guidelines (blind vs. cuff) Serge pants evenly as indicated by colored markings Utilizing an industrial sewing
