One of our clients, a T-shirt production facility located in Audubon, PA, is looking for candidates who can support their operation. This is a great opportunity to work for an Amazon-owned company where this is a contract to hire opening offering great benefits once you become permanent.
There are 4 shifts available, please see below for days and times.
The Press Assistant will support the press operator in preparing, operating and maintaining a screen printing press to produce high-quality product for final processing in the finishing department.
Responsibilities:
Assist in set up and production
Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to select and use appropriate equipment, supplies and tools
Ensures product meets customer specifications
Monitors and corrects any problems that may occur during the press run to minimize downtime and waste
Conducts routine quality check for any printing imperfections during each run
Ensures completed product is staged in the area with appropriate job ticket information attached
Maintains an accurate record of all completed work
Maintains acceptable productivity, quality, service, spoilage, security and safety goals
Performs preventative maintenance, conducts minor repairs and reports any mechanical defects to supervisor on equipment
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Follows all company procedures and rules
Follows all mandated security procedures and process requirements
Conducts self in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality and timeliness at all times
FHD (front half days): Sunday-Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6am-5:30pm
FHN (front half nights): Sunday-Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6pm-5:30am
BHD (back half days): Thursday-Saturday, and every other Wednesday 6am-5:30pm
BHN (back half nights): Thursday-Saturday, and every other Wednesday 6pm-5:30am
