Welder

Contract-to-hire welding opportunity in Wooster: 2nd or 3rd shift-$15-17/hr

- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology
- Knowledge or wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys and some aluminum
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
-Performing MIG welding
-Welding parts that are steel and some minor aluminum
-Parts are 3/16 inch thick and 1/2-6 inch in length
-Working off of blueprints
-They will be performing a lot of MIG welding on stainless
-Operating an overhead crane
-Utilizing plasma cutters and torches to fabricate materials
