Staffmark has a great opportunity for an HR Generalist with a well-established company in NWA.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties:


Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.



Timely processing and onboarding of all agency new hires.



Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.



Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.



Meet weekly for individual supervision with Supervisor.



Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.



Maintain compliance with federal, state, county, and local laws as well as Mental Health, JCO, and COA guidelines and regulations.



Maintain and promote a positive attitude and open communication with all contacts.



Other responsibilities that arise based upon agency needs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree preferred or 5 years HR Generalist work experience .Possess skills in the following areas: organization, communication, data analysis, critical thinking, and record keeping. HR certification strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience in residential and community based social services programs preferred.
