Blue Dalia is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and tequila bar featuring authentic, contemporary Mexican food and craft cocktails prepared with market-fresh ingredients that will be located on the second floor of Wegmans at the Natick Mall.
The job of the Lead Bartender is to provide incredible service by working to promote and sell items by sharing extensive knowledge about our menu and beverage offerings; bartenders practice suggestive selling techniques to assist guests in choosing the perfect items for their meal. In addition, bartenders assist in supporting restaurant operations by demonstrating true hospitality through exceptional people skills, food & beverage knowledge and service techniques. You will also be expected to support the Restaurant operation by demonstrating exceptional people & service skills and training and setting an example to employees on the standards, menu items and practices in our Restaurants.

- Continuously study menu changes and attend beverage classes whenever possible to continue to grow food and beverage knowledge
- Follow regulations for checking guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and that no alcohol is served to anyone under 21 years of age
- Ensure guests are served alcoholic beverages responsibly and monitor consumption accordingly while ensuring they are provided with a positive experience
Product (What We Do)
- Prepare the dining, bar and event areas for service with exceptional attention to detail; ensuring all areas are clean, organized and well-stocked for efficient operations throughout your shift
- Learn about special events and general restaurant operations to provide support and perform additional tasks as needed
Work Environment
- Work includes continuous walking, standing for prolonged periods of time without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting and carrying, and occasional heavy lifting, along with continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Work includes forceful gripping as well as awkward and forceful postures of the wrist. Work may include frequent stair climbing. Work involves exposure to various work environments, including temperature changes. The average weight range of items lifted is 10-20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 40 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).

Preferred Qualifications- Experience as a Bartender and or server in a fast casual restaurant
- Experience in training others
- Experience working in restaurant service or other industry experience
Preferred Skills
- Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/ or alcohol awareness programs
- Completion of a reputable bartending course
- Knowledge of beer, liquor and wine
