We are currently seeking motivated and friendly individuals to serve as a pest control specialist. You will provide pest control services to a wide range of loyal customers, using your customer service and problem-solving ability to determine the most effective and appropriate solutions to their individual pest issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities _____________________________________________

You will visit customers and provide a full range of services to address the pest control needs and challenges (different situations may require a different approach). You will be responsible for maintaining the loyalty or more than 300 of our customers by solving their complex pest issues using your knowledge of biology and treatment options. This will involve conferring with the customer to thoroughly assess their needs to ensure that they receive the highest possible value and maximum satisfaction with our services.

• Visiting the homes and businesses of 300 or more customers in an assigned coverage area and offering a range of pest control services.
• Identifying customer needs, recommending additional services as appropriate and presenting proposals for those services to customers
• Work to exceed the client expectations. Making suggestions to clients on how to avoid pest issues when appropriate. Whenever possible, explain actual or potential problems to clients face-to-face.
• Seeking out potential clients, build route density by finding new prospective clients and look for ways to add value to existing clients.
• Work flexible schedule as required to meet client expectations, including weekend and evening. Manage schedule and route to find ways to include unscheduled events into daily route. Respond to client complaints as quickly as possible after receiving notification.
• Communicate regularly with office and managers. Complete paperwork and electronic reporting on tablets accurately, and timely.
• Staying current on the latest development, trends and regulations in the pest control industry
• Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.

Job Requirements ______________________________________________________________

As a service technician, you must be professional, hardworking and punctual with the ability to effectively analyze and propose solutions to a variety of pest problems. You should also be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with a friendly personality and a firm commitment to providing super customer service.

• Background in customer service and sales
• Effective upselling skills
• Solid prioritization and workflow management skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
• Pest control technician license, a plus
