Transportation Supervisor- Crude, Wink, TX - Full-time / Part-time

Supervises drivers in the safe and efficient purchase and transportation of crude oil while placing special emphasis on supporting the following Core Values: Unmatched Excellence in Customer Service; Being a Flexible, Innovative and Dedicated Employee; Honest and Ethical Behavior; Wise and Productive Use of All Resources; and Safety in All We Do.

 

Major Job Tasks:

• Supervises crude drivers
• Monitors drivers' compliance with environmental procedures and regulatory requirements as determined by company policy, while taking a personal pro-active role in the prevention of environmental contamination. Act as the on-the-scene coordinator in the event of environmental contamination.
• Closely monitors drivers' activities to ensure company compliance with a variety of regulations in the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Coordinates the transportation of crude oil with dispatch, while making the best utilization of equipment and providing customers with timely transportation.
• Takes a pro-active role in "Safety in All We Do" by knowing and following all company safety procedures and policies, evaluating hazardous working conditions, and formulating safety goals for drivers.
• Provides "Unmatched Excellence in Customer Service", both internally and externally, in all aspects of the position's responsibilities, by developing good working relationships with customers based on mutual trust and ethical behavior. Ensures that the drivers are performing their jobs in a manner which promotes excellent customer relations, customer service and has a direct impact on the Company's crude oil supply.
• Maintains a current commercial driver's license (CDL) class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  Performs others duties as assigned and travels for the position as business needs dictate.
