About this job
Automation Personnel Services, Inc., is now hiring for Maintenance Technicians in Montgomery, AL. Candidate must have minimal supervision and assistance, repairs, maintains and troubleshooting mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic components of production machines and equipment.
Job Duties and Requirements:
Troubleshoots to locate malfunctions and problem areas.
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Replaces defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system.
Locates damaged air and hydraulic lines on machine, and installs new pipe.
Repairs broken parts. Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as lathes, drill press, or grinder to make or repair parts.
Modifies, loads and/or unloads programs in PLCs.
Responds promptly to machine call lights (Red lights)
Maintains necessary records and updating maintenance and activity logs.
Submits detailed requisitions for necessary parts.
Prepares for equipment changeover.
Follows verbal and written instructions from Engineer or Supervisor
Actively participates in yearly machine overhauls as scheduled.
May perform miscellaneous facility maintenance, as necessary, and subject to availability.
Shift: Monday - Friday Various Shifts (subject to change), some overtime may be required
Pay Rate: $17.70 - $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: Temporary to Hire
Requirements:
-Background and Drug testing are required.
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Valid Documentation for I9 Process.
