Auto Service Technician - Full Time

At Mills Fleet Farm our Tire Specialists service our customer vehicles in basic oil change, tire rotation, tire mounting and dismounting, wheel alignment checks and completing vehicle courtesy checks as they continue learning new techniques to stay abreast in a rapidly growing automotive industry while increasing their knowledge of diagnosing and repairing suspension and alignment issues.

Job Responsibilities of Tire/Maintenance Technician:

• Change oil and filters
• Check fluids and air filters
• Install batteries and checks charging systems
• Check/replace bulbs and wipers
• Install and perform tire maintenance including wheel alignment checks
• Install parts which include shock absorbers and suspension
• Inform store management of equipment mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintain an organized and neat bay
• Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules
• Road test vehicles when needed

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
• 1 ASE certification preferred
• A high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude
• 18 years of age and must have a valid driver's license
