Title: Roll Former Operator
Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Mesquite, TX 75149
Pay: $13.00-$15.00 hour plus up to $2 per hour bonus based on productivity
(Must work at least 40 hours to receive bonus for week. Bonus only paid on first 40 hours worked each week)
Hours: M – F, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are currently seeking several Roll Former Operators to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Operate the roll forming machinery or assist other machine operators.
- Starts machine and observes flow of material through machine to detect irregularities
- Inspect product coming off the line or at any point of the production process to identify issues as soon as they arise. Visually inspect product to immediately identify defects as soon as they happen and notify supervisor immediately of defects to eliminate waste and costs.
- Be able to load roll forming machine with raw material.
- Mount roll of material on machine supports and thread material over tension bar, between feed rollers, and under rotary blades
- Stacks material on shelves according to layout
- Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities and report productivity to the supervisor.
- Keeping work area clean and organized is required.
- Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, damaged product, etc. to supervisors
- Participate in safety program and obey safety instructions, rules, policy and procedures
- Other duties as necessary
- Package products using a staple gun and foot staplers
- Laps ends of material around take-up tubes
Required Capabilities
- High school degree, diploma, or GED
- Possess good basic math skills
- 2+ year’s machine operator experience
- Safety conscious individual
- Comfortable with performing repetitious work
- Willing to cross-train in other areas
- Forklift/Pallet Jack Experience a plus
- Must wear steel-toed boots and jeans
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- A team player who handles multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Punctual with good attendance is a must
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds in a safe manner
- Must be Bilingual
- Excellent verbal & written English language skills are required
- Must be able to work in a uncontrolled environment
- Professional appearance required
