JOIN US AS A FOUNDATION PROGRAM LEAD – Corporate Social Responsibility
 
As a Foundation Program Lead, you will be responsible for developing and managing complementary strategic philanthropy portfolio designed and aligned to issues where Target wants to create environmental and social impact. Maintain relationships with grantees and other non-profits in related fields to build long term, collaborative partnerships to create societal change in areas important to Target.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Translate, design and develop a strategic philanthropic portfolio that complements Target’s priority environmental and societal issues
  • Partner with environmental and social business integration teams to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies
  • Identify and develop partnerships and manage ongoing relationships with non-profit/NGOs to direct grants to and/or design programming that create systemic, sustainable, and measureable impact
  • Develop measurement plans and measure all grants in portfolio, in partnership with the M&E team
  • Drive the portfolio development process, including RFP development, grantee identification, program design, and portfolio selection
  • Direct the efficient flow of grants through their life cycles, ensuring proposal and reporting compliance, adherence to grant agreements, and timely and accurate processing
  • Execute vetting process and initial due diligence for identified non-profit/NGO partners
  • Conduct regular site visits with partners
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
  • B.A. in relevant field (4 years)
  • At least 8-10 years business experience or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a comprehensive philanthropic portfolio in alignment with key company issues and relevant societal needs
  • Strong knowledge of social and environmental issues and stakeholder landscapes
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Successful experience in identifying, cultivating and growing high-profile partnerships, experience with public-private partnerships a plus
  • Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills – connecting dots and translating ideas into action
  • Proven ability to collaborate and engage with external partners (e.g., NGOs, foundations and other corporate foundations)
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies against one or more societal issue
