Customer Solutions Engineer / R&D Engineer

We are looking to bring on and develop a parts catalog expert to support our internal technical sales Engineers, and our end customers.

This position will support the Customer Experience team in Technical Assistance of Internal Sales engineers and customers. Our ideal candidate will develop expertise with our parts catalog and could grow into a long term position on here after a few Months.

Main responsibilities for this job:

• Respond to level one and Level two support calls. Identify issues with valves, gauges, and connectors in complex medical systems and Industrial.
• Take on the trickier, more time consuming research and solutions when the lvl 1 Technicians cannot find the answer.
• Conduct your own research and learn directly for the R&D Design Engineers to become an applications expert on our catalog of parts.
• In time, you would be responsible for supporting Internal Sales Engineers and make recommendations for replacements of Competitor's parts for our clients.
• Must have a strong understanding of gas and fluid systems and how to troubleshoot them or assemble them. (i.e. Industrial Refrigerators, Production Gas Boxes, and systems with coolant lines, gas lines, check for leakage and creep of joints and parts)
• The responsibilities of the role would start out as 30% technical support and 70% design support for their R&D Team in AutoDesk Inventor. As things get busier would transition to 50/50 split on time.

Background:

• 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree, understands pressure regulation, and communication skills.
• Able to quickly understand issues/application and resolve the issue.
