Immediate Openings for a CAREGiver position - Part-time

We have immediate openings with flexible schedules for our CAREGiver position. We service all of Lake and Porter counties in Indiana.

Our CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care provide assistance with daily living activities such as, but not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation / Errands 
• Assistance with dressing and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Hospice and Alzheimer's Care

*Skills training is provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Warm and friendly demeanor
• Complete and pass a  criminal background check, DMV check and pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license, have your own reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance throughout entire employment
• Must be at least 21 due to licensing and bonding purposes
• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
