Solution Engineer I - Master Data Management (MDM)

Solution Engineer in the area of Master Data Management (MDM), including Supplier Hub and Site Hub on the Oracle EBS platform, to design solutions and create technical designs after examining multiple solution options. The Solution Engineer will work with the functional resources to ensure that applications fulfill TJX's business requirements. The Solution Engineer will be responsible for sizing, scoping and estimating project requests individually and in partnership with other teams.

• Creates sizing and estimates for new project requests. Maintains estimate documents for approved projects as they move through the Solution Delivery Process (SDP) phase gates.
• Provides specific subject matter expertise input into the conceptual architecture for projects.
• Provides guidance to an extended project team related to the solution and technical design. Assists and advises project teams in the configuration, testing, implementation and support of technical solutions.
• Partners with Solution Engineering teams in other domains, Solution Architects, and other roles.
• Provides input into design best practice methodologies and standards.
• Provides solution oversight to the extended project team during the build/test and implementation phases of assigned projects.
  
  Must Have:

• Experience in the areas of Application Architecture and Technical Design.
• Experience with packaged and custom applications.
• Exposure to technology design best practices which includes Performance, Security, Availability, as well as Operations, Monitoring and Support.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams.
• Ability to understand the big picture and the short term perspectives of specific situations.
• Ability to influence others to achieve results.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Worked on design and development in EBS R12
• Knowledge and understanding of the Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
• Experience in design and development of OA Framework extensions and JDeveloper tool
• Knowledge of industry documentation standards and should be able to create technical design deliverables
• Knowledge of general Oracle coding standards for database objects, PL/SQL and Java components
• Experience working with Oracle EBS integration architecture and workflow components
  
  Preferred skills:

• Functional knowledge of Oracle MDM modules (Site Hub, Supplier Hub, Product Hub and Customer Hub) preferred
• Knowledge/experience Supplier Chain modules of Oracle EBS
