Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Maintenance Mechanic responsible for the upkeep and repair of systems in pre-cast concrete plant.
- 480 V; down to 220; 3 phase
- comfortable rewiring a motor or gearboxes, replacing a motor, moving and installing a motor in a new location
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic machines to identify area of problem and if can't repair, be able to identify area of issue to call machine specific service
- Start day checking oil and water level in all forklifts
- Only need to perform basics on forklifts and similar equipment such as if a hydraulic seal is leaking, be able to remove and send out to shop, change oil in engine or axle oil
- Replace a starter if it goes out, etc
- Work on limit switches and processors
- Preventative maintenance on forklifts
- Rewiring controls

They move a lot of water around the plant, which takes a lot of pumps. Must be able to do maintenance on small engines, motor on pumps - take apart and clean, change parts out.
- Basic plumbing - they run 2" pipe around the plant for water usage.
- Ex - if vibrator quits working, needs to be able to take it apart and figure out what issue is.
