3 MUST HAVES:
Mechanical Aptitude-The ideal candidate will have experience working with their hands and have the ability to use hand tools and work with metal materials.
General Laborer-Anyone who has worked with their hands in the past (construction, machine shop) and is interested in training and learning.
Need to be able to accurately ready a tape measure or know how to use a Micrometer.
We are looking to hire a Metal Fabricator to our team on the 1st shift to assist in the Machine Shop. You will be transporting and loading metal materials into machines that will cut/bend them into parts for elevator panels. You will be operating a machine that fabricates metal and make sure products are cut correctly to customer specification/blueprints. You will also be required to read a computer screen and then attach the correct drill bit to the machine so it can cut the product.
* Fabricate elevator fixtures
* Read and interpret blueprints and sketches
* Interpret measurements
* Verify specifications
* Alter dimensions to fit specifications
* Ensure working environment is clean and safe
* Report errors in product line
* Ability to work overtime when necessary
* Other responsibilities as requested by Manager
Shift: 6AM-230PM Monday-Friday (OT Available all week as well)
Salary: $12-13HR
