Cabela's Wholesale Inc. is seeking to fill a full time DC Outfitter position for the Retail Transportation Department at the Distribution Center located in Wheeling, WV. Position is full-time, day shift. Minimum starting wage of $13.00 per hour.
DESCRIPTION:
This position includes functions of transportation as related to our Distribution Center's Retail department. Daily activities will include outbound work for trailers/truck yard as related to Retail.
Associate will be responsible for all Outbound Retail loads, schedules and appointments, and for updating any databases and reports related to transportation. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Must be machine certified or willing to become machine certified
? Follow all Cabela's safety rules and regulations.
? Ability to work in an efficient manner with minimal supervision.
? Ability to effectively function as a Team Player.
? Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
? Associate must be able to lift 50lbs frequently.
? Associate must have knowledge of and follow company policies and procedures.
? Must have the ability to multi-task and have good organizational skills
? Must be able to communicate with corporate logistics
? Knowledge of logistics or transportation field desired
