General Description
An iFLY Flight Instructor conducts training classes, assists customers during their flights, and enthusiastically promotes the sport of body flight. The main job of a Flight Instructor is to facilitate a safe and enjoyable flight experience for the customer. Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: promoting customer's safety while flying, providing excellent customer service, up-selling and sales, coaching, controlling the wind-tunnel, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and conducting the daily run-up inspection.
Duties and Responsibilities
u0026middot; Meeting and greeting customers with world class customer service
u0026middot; Training and teaching the class
u0026middot; Gearing up and de-gearing customers
u0026middot; Safely flying customers in the wind-tunnel
u0026middot; Coaching novice and advanced flyers
u0026middot; Controlling the wind-speed of the wind-tunnel
u0026middot; Taking photos
u0026middot; Up-Selling iFLY products and services, including return flyer vouchers, additional flight rotations, and media
u0026middot; Cleaning
u0026middot; Additional Customer Service duties may include:
o Checking in guests
o Making reservations
o Answering phone calls
o Stocking merchandise
o Inventory control
u0026middot; Ability to work with children, adults, seniors, beginners and experts
Work Experience and Knowledge Requirements
u0026middot; High-school diploma or equivalent
u0026middot; Successful completion of Flight Instructor Training Program
*If hired, the company will provide advanced and safety training on a regular basis
