As part of Sanguine’s mobile staff, you are serving as the face of Sanguine while out in the field. It is important for our mobile staff to be comfortable and well-versed in the @home setting while representing the brand of Sanguine professionally and personally. Mobile medical staff will perform a variety of protocol specific procedures including but not limited to phlebotomy, vitals, physical exam, sample processing, packaging and shipment of applicable goods, and delivery and transport of materials per protocol. The above activities must be conducted per clinical research standards, including but not limited to GCP, IATA, HIPAA, and OSHA.  Mobile staff must be familiar with the protocol and procedures being practiced and must be fully trained before performing an @home collection. Additionally, managing personal inventory of supplies and equipment supplied by Sanguine will be required.

Primary Duties:

  • Dispose of biohazard containers as scheduled and needed
  • Ensure all field phlebotomy and biospecimens are collected (according to established practices) accurately and on time
  • Work independently and autonomously at assigned @home visits
  • Demonstrate exceptional telephone etiquette and be able to communicate and greet subjects in a polite and friendly manner
  • Adhere to Sanguine BioSciences’ code of grooming and dress code
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment
  • Promote a positive image to subjects, employees, the sponsor, and the general public. Sanguine’s mobile team has the most exposure to the public and it is important to carry the Sanguine brand appropriately
  • Be responsible to all equipment provided (including inventory and condition of all supplies)
  • Work cooperatively and effectively communicate should any issues arise while in the field
  • Keep the subject’s best interest and safely at the forefront during each @home visit. Any safety concern or deviations will be reported and logged by the established policies and procedures
  • Available for training or re-training at any given point in time, should protocol changes arise
  • Understanding of the practiced protocol and needs of the internal Sanguine team
  • Communicate effectively with study Project Manager’s to address any questions, concerns, deviations or data that needs to be reported
  • Record and enter appropriate data as required within Sanguine’s EDC system. Additionally, available and comfortable enough to potentially train mobile staff as needed
  • Administer subject questionnaires and interviews as required per the specified protocol

Requirements:

  • Current RN License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • 5+ years nursing experience
  • 2+ years Pediatric experience
  • Regular access to an insured automobile
  • Immunizations including Hep B from the past 20 years and TB from the pasty 12 months
  • Ownership of an Iphone or Android smartphone
  • Personable and friendly
  • Exceptional organizational skills
