In the role of manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining hospitality in the front-of-the-house by promoting a friendly, inviting environment for guest. You must select, train, and lead employees toward the achievement of our mission statement, "making affordable dining pleasurable." As a member of our restaurant operations management team, you will be responsible for the overall, day to day operations which include, but are not limited to the production and preparation of quality food that exemplifies company standards. You will also be expected to promote and maintain the compliance of OSHA safety standards and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining company set labor and food cost standards.
Managers must work approximately 55-60 hours a week. This position requires extended periods of standing and walking without breaks. Applicants must be task oriented, with the ability to prioritize accordingly, as well as, possess knowledge of complex administrative duties. This position also requires occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying bending and reaching overhead may also be necessary. The work environment involves substantial customer contact, working with numerous types of restaurant equipment, and walking on slippery surfaces. Applicant should be self-motivated, since the position consists of minimal day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for training and operations meetings.
