The Financial Controller of FCA Caribbean office is based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This entity supports sales and marketing operations for Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, and Barbados.

What You'll Do:
 
Financial Reporting, prepare annual budget, monthly forecasts, and monthly actuals for Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Barbados, and the Dominican Republic. Report results to upper management. Month-end close duties including posting journal entries to ARTMIS, HFM entity promotion, and Blackline account reconciliations. Approve invoice payments in PentaSAP.

Operational Finance:
  • Review incentives proposals from Operations team and make recommendations by analyzing specific vehicle margins, strategic impact, and impact on overall budget
  • Perform prospective and post-mortem analysis of various strategic initiatives such as marketing and incentive programs, and make recommendations to upper management
  • Ensure dealer compliance with local Incentives Rules Manual (Gold Book)
  • Directly advise dealers on specific concerns and situations
  • Administer incentive payments and chargebacks to the Caribbean dealer network based on dealer achievement and compliance with incentive programs.
  • Review and approve local marketing and G&A expense estimates
Compliance:
  • Manage local company car fleet and ensure compliance with local company car policies
  • Provide FCA US compliance departments (Tax, Benefits, etc) and external service providers with information to file benefit plan returns, state and municipal income tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and payroll tax returns
  • Work with FCA US Internal Counsel to monitor and review local contracts
  • Serve as main liaison to FCA US Human Resources for local HR matters
  • Manage local bank account and correspond with FCA US Treasury Department for compliance reporting
  • Ensure local compliance with various corporate policies, such as leasehold reporting, Concur expense reporting, mandatory corporate trainings, and records management
*This position reports into the NAFTA Supply Chain Finance Organization.
*Qualified candidates will be local to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
