This position works from Remote Corporate Offices and reports to the Marketing Sales Manager and/or VP of Marketing.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fleet  Account Manager position is an outside sales position responsible for expanding the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Fleet Management business within an assigned territory.

  • The Account Manager will focus on companies with a fleet of vehicles ranging between 10-125 vehicles, who have a strong need to out-source their fleet maintenance services.
  • The Account Manager will achieve sales goals through referrals and various forms of marketing and sales presentations that define the value of fleet service to key decision makers.
  • The Account Manager is responsible for influencing the buying decision, while exceeding the customer's expectations for service, knowledge and professionalism.

The Account Manager will be knowledgeable of our complete menu of services including all potential vehicle services, maintenance management, billing management, vehicle accounting and incentives for use. Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of two years prior successful professional sales experience (i.e. B2B, commissioned sales)
  • A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required; occasional travel by vehicle may be required. Occasional overnight travel to other regions may be required.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is performed primarily in an indoor office and shop environment
  • Occasional field environment with some travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain; incumbents may be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to kneel, climbing, carrying, bending, crawling, reaching, pushing and pulling, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • This position requires up to 50% travel. Occasional overnight travel to other regions may be required.
