Forklift Operator, Temporary to Hire

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

SALARY: $16.00/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION: Local warehousing company is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator comfortable using a roll clamp attachment to join their team! Duties will include moving product, loading rolls on and off trucks and rail cars, tracking inventory with a computer system on lift, and working in a fast paced work environment. Hours for these positions are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

- Must have at least 3 years of previous roll clamp or forklift experience.

- Previous experience must include operating a roll clamp/forklift for at least 6 hours per daily shift.

- Must be mechanically inclined.

- Must have a valid Driver's License.

- Able to stand for 8+ hours.

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

- Must be able to work in a team setting.

- Must be able to demonstrate forklift ability during interview process.

- If selected, must be able to obtain steeled boots.

- Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
