Home Instead Senior Care of Warren and Hunterdon Counties is looking for a multi-faceted individual with quick wit and creativity. A Human Resources Receptionist/Assistant to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults. Must be a &ldquoPeople&rdquo person with exceptional communication skills and PC skills. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services to help seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.


JOB SUMMARY:

Provides outstanding customer service to our clients and prospective clients, applicants and our employees. Answers multi-line phone, directs incoming calls and assists callers as appropriate. Responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager with various administrative functions including recruiting, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens, interviewing potential candidates, filing new hire paperwork, track training, answer requests for verification of employment, and all other general office duties.

EDUCATION: High School Graduate/GED required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of office experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Xcel, Word
  • Must be able to provide quality customer service to all incoming associates, applicants, and other visitors.
  • Ability to answer telephones, direct calls, take messages and provide information.
  • On-call rotation approximately one week a month

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

Previous Human Resources and/or healthcare experience a plus but not required.
Broad knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures preferred

Previous Administrative Assistant experience.
