The Norwood office of Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Weekday On-Call Service 
Supervisor Tuesday starting at 5pm until Friday 9am Every other week. This individual must be available for weekend on-call supervision, answering all 
calls and overseeing client schedule management to provide the highest quality service to 
clients. 
 
The Weekday On-Call Service Supervisor will work closely with the Staffing Coordinators in the 
following way: 
  • Arrive at the Home Instead Senior Care office by 3pm Tuesday afternoon to pick up cell phone, laptop and any related information.
  • Go over weekday schedules and any trouble spots that might arise with staffing coordinators 
  • Notify schedulers of any changes and messages received and email all activity by 8:30am. 
  • Return to Home Instead Senior Care office Friday morning by 10am to drop off cell phone and laptop.
During the weekday, supervisor's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
  • Answering all incoming telephone calls and responding to them as needed 
  • Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise 
  • Take messages and document all calls so office staff can respond if necessary when office opens.
  • Contact backup person when questions arise about clients or CAREGivers that require input from regular office staff. 
  • Fill in on assignments that come open until a replacement CAREGiver is found. 
 
Candidate needs to have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills. 
CNA experience preferred. Also ideal for retired nurses looking for part-time work.
