Director of Nursing - RN
Home Instead Senior Care of Morris & Passaic Counties is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors. Our CAREGivers provide basic support services that enable seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. At Home Instead Senior Care, it's relationship before task, while striving to provide superior quality service.
We currently have a full-time Nursing Director position at an established private pay home care agency serving Morris and Passaic counties of New Jersey. The Nursing Director is responsible for the clinical oversight of our Health Care Service Firm.
Primary:
- Direct all personal care services as per agency scope of practice
- Participates in initial company orientation of Certified Home Health Aides
- Assist in assigning proper personnel based on client's plan of care
- Supervise Staff RNs
- Perform in-home client assessments and develop plan of care
- Provide clinical orientation and supervisions to CHHAs in clients' homes
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all clients and their significant others through home assessment visits
- Monitor, mediate and log both client and CAREGiver activity, and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service
- Develop and maintain a relationship with the collaterals of each client
- Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records
Qualifications
- Must be a NJ licensed RN with two years of education and community health nursing experience
- Must work well with a team
- Must have a positive, friendly and enthusiastic disposition
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service/sales skills
- Ability to multi-task
Full-time, 30-40 hours/week. Office is located in Succasunna, NJ
