Aerospace Buyer (SAP) - Full-time / Part-time

MUST HAVES
1.Minimum Two - three years of experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or closely related field.
2. AA degree, BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain.
3. ISM certifications such as CPSM or C.P.M. or APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP Preferred.
4. SAP Experience

This individual acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility to commit company resources up to authorized levels. Reviews purchase requisitions, solicits quotations, and awards purchase orders for direct supplies and service buys. Analyzes purchases of indirect items and services for opportunities to leverage spend, reduce inventories, and lower total cost of acquisition. Identifies spend opportunities for long term agreements. Develops innovative service agreements and maintains relations with suppliers. Becomes familiar with internal and supplier processes. Involves interface with the Manager/Supervisor of Indirect Procurement on purchase orders over authorized levels, long term contracts, and project assignments.
