Job Description:
We are looking for an individual in our estimating department to come in and do work with top quality residential single family and multifamily plans. You will be expected to meet company goals and standards of producing accurate lot specific estimates in an efficient and timely manner which are unique to each project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the pricing database for all single family homes
- Estimate and bid out new product
- Estimate Custom Option Change Requests
- Troubleshoot house plan construction issues as they arise
- Review and analyze monthly cost changes to provide and maintain accurate sales pricing and housing budgets
- Complete and verify information for reports
- Responsible for distribution of pricing information
Work Environment:
80 employees total. We bring clients in and have the show room at the office, so the dress code is professional. Family owned and operated. There is the opportunity to learn A LOT in this role. Very low turnover rate and not a micro-managed culture. Opportunity to get to the solution any way you choose, can come up with new systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management or related field desired
- 1+ year(s) estimating/home construction experience (residential/single-family home experience preferred)
- Experience working with blueprints/construction drawings
