The Assets Protection Director (APD) provides leadership and support to store and district leaders in assets protection functions. With an eye on a given district’s financial goals, you will coordinate the AP team in protecting company assets, securing our store teams and preventing and resolving theft and fraud in stores. Your focus area will involve driving the strategy for staffing, training and development, expense management, physical safety and security, operational shortage, investigations and technology and equipment. You’ll build positive and productive partnerships with local law enforcement and emergency personnel. Team members will rely on you for guidance in leveraging a state-of-the-art security and video system. The AP Director reports to the Sr. AP Director, and leads a team of Assets Protection Business Partners and partners closely with other store leaders.
 
About you:

 

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • Supervisor level experience
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Leadership skills, team-oriented thinking and ability to influence key business partners
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships
