Staffmark is currently assisting a local client in Greenwood Indiana with their search for a Facility Maintenance Technician to work in a manufacturing facility. As a Facility Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining material, handling equipment and ensuring that everything is in proper working order and in safe operating condition.
This is a temp to hire position!

Primary job duties for a Facility Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to:
Repair and diagnose equipment as needs arise
Emergency repair diagnosis and dispatching of the appropriate vendors
Issue PO's as necessary, research and locate replacement parts
Perform all necessary preventative maintenance on time
Maintain spare parts inventory
Installs and maintains the set-up and on-going support of printers, scales and scan equipment including the loading and printer labels, ribbons, toner, paper, etc.
Provides support, troubleshooting, and problem detection and repairs as well as general and preventative maintenance as needed for all hardware including printers, scales and scan guns and sortation equipment.
Report on production status and/or escalation of service level interruption to Corporate IT
Working with Corporate in identifying and preparing hardware for disposal when appropriate and ensure date is stripped and secured before disposal
Shift hours:
1st ~ 7am -- 4pm Monday-Friday
Pay rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Associates degree or 7 years of material handling maintenance exp.,
Excellent written and/or oral communication skills.,
Some Microsoft office skills.,
Able to lead, motivate and mentor workforce,
Knowledge of OSHA regulations.,
Able to understand schematics, blueprints and mechanical designs.,
Track P/Ms, Cost Savings, and other similar functions.,
Electrical Experience is s a plus.
Excellent written and/or oral communication skills.,
