Kitchen Leader - Stone Balloon Alehouse

POSITION SUMMARY:

Stone Balloon Ale House is looking for their next kitchen leader.  This individual will have stellar communication skills,  classic cooking “know how” with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.  

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Elevate and maintain Kitchen Team Member’s performance throughout shift.  
Execution of menu on any given shift.
Expediting as necessary.
Flexibility to solve problems as they arise - adapting to the issue without interruption to service.
Strong communications skills.
Maintain cohesion between FOH and BOH Team Members - one cannot function without the other.
Ability to convey information to team - willingness to train.
Encouraging a collaborative environment.
Night and weekend availability.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with classic cooking techniques, including but not limited to roast, saute, blanch, fry, grill, steam.
Proficient knife skills
Must have experience in all conventional cookline positions (Saute, grill, fryer, pantry, prep)
Good interpersonal, communication and listening skills. 
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
Strong food rotation & sanitation knowledge.
Experience with proteins.
