We are looking for compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors in Omaha. Our team of CAREGivers assist seniors in our community with a variety of services and help them remain independent in their familiar surroundings. We are currently looking for reliable and caring individuals to join our team, who are available to work during overnight hours. These shifts require the CAREGiver to remain awake for the duration of the scheduled shift. Training is provided.
Must be at least 19 years of age, have your own vehicle with insurance, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Our team of CAREGivers assist seniors in our community with a variety of services and help them remain independent in their familiar surroundings. We are currently looking for reliable and caring individuals to join our team, who are available to work during overnight hours. These shifts require the CAREGiver to remain awake for the duration of the scheduled shift. Training is provided.
As a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care, you will:
- Provide Companionship & Home Helper Services which could include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
- Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
- Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
- Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
- Washing and ironing laundry
- Running errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Provide Personal Services which could include:
- Assisting with bathing
- Assisting with grooming
- Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
- Provide Specialized Services which could include:
- Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
- Double Client Service
- Customized Shift
Essential Job Requirements:
- Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
- Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers)
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
