CAREGiver - Part-time

At Home Instead Senior Care our mission is to help seniors stay safe and secure in the home they know and love.  As a CAREGiver, you would provide a variety of non-medical services that stimulate, encourage and assist seniors to maintain their independence at home.  Our services are provided across 6 counties including: Wayne, Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland with CAREGivers needed in each county.  Apply today to enhance a seniors life.
 
           Primary Responsibilities
           
           Companionship 
           Running errands/Grocery shopping
           Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc)
           Laundry/Linen changes
           Light meal planning and preparation
           Medication and appointment reminders
           Incidental transportation for client appointments
           Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
           Provide stabilization and assistance along with other helpful tasks
 
           Requirements

           Experience is helpful, but not necessary as training will be provided
           Compassion, dependability, patience and respect for seniors and their homes
           Criminal background check, Department of Motor Vehicle check and Drug screen.

           Reliable means of transportation
