Transmission Tech Apprentice - Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer
• Determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Notify Service Advisor if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
• Accurately document work performed
• Stay updated with factory bulletins
• Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools
  
  

Transmission Tech Apprentice - Job Requirements:

• Previous experience, automotive knowledge or trade/tech schooling preferred but we will train the right candidates
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record and background check
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Strong work ethic
