Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for pulling and staging raw material and ingredients for next day production according to plan.
- Pick and pack all orders for the day. Must be detail oriented and have good attention to detail. Able to follow instructions and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Arrange transportation for all LTL orders.
- Process orders via USPS, UPS or FedEx according to cut off times. Must be able to prioritize orders to make cut off time.
- Schedule inbound P.O.'s to meet production schedule, arrange pickup using LTL carriers.
- Cleaning the warehouse.
- Preparing for Amazon.
- Receiving raw ingredients if needed.
- Making mixed boxes for stock.
- Organizing the finished goods stockroom.
- Organize the freezer and cooling unit.
- Minimum 1 year of Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx Systems.
- Experience shipping to Amazon, Costco and Target are a plus.
- Must know how to operate forklift and be able to be certified. Forklift is used once or twice a week.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP's and Allergens.
- Able to think outside the box and present changes.
