R&D Process Technician
Hayward, CA
We are looking for an experienced Process Technician or Machine operator to help in our glass treating/Manufacturing production Line.
We are building electro-reactive window panes and there are several roles involved in glass washing, glass etching, and lamination.
You will work directly with Process Engineers on operating the production equipment based on revised SOPs, watching for defects on the glass or laminate and adjusting the robots and Automated equipment accordingly.
We run like a startup and you will have the opportunity to make suggestions across teams and departments, and get involved with the development of our products.
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required, AS or BS a big plus.
3 years of experience as a process technician or similar production.
Good communication skills, train from written SOPs and shadowing, and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
The successful candidate is organized, efficient, safety minded , and detail-oriented.
