Job Description
Perform analytical testing and physical testing
Testing includes HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, pH, specific gravity, viscosity and emulsion stability
Assist production with day to day operations and introduction of new products and formulations.
Assist with the set-up of new or existing product specifications.
May conduct analytical testing, as well as batch calculations utilizing mathematical acuity, in support of formulation and process development.
Conduct work in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates working knowledge of scientific principles.
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Normally receives no instructions on routine work and only general instructions on new assignments.
Create new SOP and/or revise existing SOP.
Assist in training of peers and less skilled employees in execution of analyses and/or the use of specialized equipment.
Good communication and team working skills.
Shift: M-F 8-430 pm
Pay: $15-$17/hr. based on industry experience.
**Contract to hire or direct placement opportunity based on skills and experience.
Must haves: Bachelors degree in some sort of science background, 0 years of industry experience needed but do need basic laboratory skills like basic wet chemistry.
