Controls Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Engineer responsible for working in field at customer sites performing various engineering & programming tasks including, but not limited to industrial controls & automation projects such as: design, startups, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting to project manager.

Contractor / Consultant must have experience in PLC programming and HMI programming. Must also be willing and able to travel, mostly driving.

The following PLC brands are acceptable to our client: Allen Bradley ( AB ), Modicon, Siemens, or GE.

The following HMI / SCADA programming experience is acceptable: Inconics, Wonderware, iFIX by GE, Citect, or WinCC

BSEE or Electrical Engineering Technology degree is preferred
3+ years experience programming controls systems with PLC & HMI is required. senior experience is preferred absent the degree
project engineer can be assigned to multiple locations depending on area of expertise. Oil and Gas or Waste Water experience is needed in the south texas area.
