Candidates for the Experienced Registered Nurse position on the OBGYN L&D must maintain active RN licensure in the state of Maryland. Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing preferred. Associate Degree candidates may be considered, provided they are either currently enrolled, or will shortly be enrolled in an accredited RN to BSN program. Eighteen months of recent RN experience is required.
The Experienced Registered Nurse is responsible for:
-Providing direct patient care based on the JHH nursing process, policy, procedures.
-Providing leadership and direction to RNs promoting quality and excellence of care.
-Promoting improvement in unit processes and systems to benefit patient care and achieve unit goals.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team. We welcome those that have experience in other companies such as Cardinal Health, Express Scripts Holding, and Cross Country Healthcare and have had similar occupations in the Healthcare field in roles such as Telecommuting Physician Assistant, Patient Service Representative, and Lab Technician
