A part of the Product Development & Innovation core team, this role involves being an integral part of growing a new organizational capability for Quad.

Responsibilities:
  • Competitive analysis to support insights in discussions and presentations with senior leadership and potential partner executive teams.
  • Scans the marketplace for opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Are a champion of rigorous business practices, and know how to translate those principles to teams with mixed expertise.
  • Are an active listener and pattern finder, identifying the intersection of customer desirability, technological feasibility and business viability.
  • Have a mix of experiences that include technology/engineering, design and business.
  • Experience working within and coaching interdisciplinary teams focusing on human-centric business design.
Primary Duties and Qualifications:
    • Provides direction and coaching to help teams to identify, evaluate and accelerate new businesses to market.
    • Provide expertise in Business building, design, customer sensing, and team building capabilities that support, challenge and drive innovation success within all programs and across business units
    • Ensure that teams are successful in building a business case or plan.
    • Act as an owner of systematic approach for continuous collection of innovation/workshop feedback , outputs, tools, metrics - always improving our approach and performance.
    • A track record of building businesses - bringing new products, services or solutuions to market.
    • Understand context, develop insight, define opportunity, set strategy, communicate vision and design go to market strategies for new businesses using business and design thinking
    • Master's degree preferred, BA or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • Entrepreneurial / Intrapreneurial experience preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, operational leadership, innovation programs, or product development/design programs
    • Strong project management skills, business acumen. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
    • Ability to lead others toward building something new and achievement of a goal, with demonstrated experience building projects, processes, or organizational structures
    • Demonstrated ability as a creative problem solver who can manage through ambiguity and devise innovation solutions that fit within the context of the big picture
    • A proven track record of successful networking --initiating and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels in complex global organizations.
