Tram Drivers will work all positions in the Traffic Department including:
  • Parking lot positions
  • Tollbooths
  • Pet Kennel
  • Driver Positions
Basic Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have 1 of the following valid Florida CDL licenses:
  • Class A with (P) Passenger Endorsement AND Restriction 6
  • Class B with (P) Passenger Endorsement AND NO restriction on air brakes
  • Class C with (P) Passenger Endorsement AND NO restriction on air brakes
  • Must maintain a valid DOT physical card
  • Must be able to meet company driving guidelines
  • Must be comfortable speaking on a microphone
  • Communicate effectively with ambassadors and guests
  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs. occasionally
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
  • Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
  • Ability to climb heights up to 6 feet (ladders/stairs)
  • Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent guest service and work in a team environment in a professional manner
  • Operate trams to transport guests and team members from remote parking sites
  • Provide crowd control for our courtesy tram operation
  • Assist guests with wheelchairs or strollers on/off tram
  • Make announcements about the park for guests on the tram with a microphone
  • Maintain area cleanliness, including but not limited to: the tram, tram stop, pet kennel and storage areas
  • Handle large amounts of cash, when collecting parking fees
  • Direct cars in the parking lot
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures. Complete daily projects to maintain positive appearance of the parking lot to our guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business need
  • Please note, drivers are not guaranteed to drive the entire shift and will have additional responsibilities in the parking lot, tollbooths, or pet kennels
