Our Vision for this Role

As an EPMO Partner II (Champion for QA Center of Excellence), you’ll govern and lead the QA managed services for our Solution Delivery Leaders (SDLs) and their delivery teams to improve Build function efforts to deliver IT projects and programs with high quality, on time and within budget. You’ll ensure that high level of quality services are provided by our vendors to support our solution delivery teams by adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s. You’ll serve as the primary strategic contact for all project quality management and test automation-related matters for the IT delivery groups.

The Skills that will Make You Successful
  • Extensive project and program quality management experience with a demonstrable track record delivering multi-year, high budget and large scale projects and programs ideally on a global level. You will be guiding project delivery teams in quality management best practices, so it is important that you have at least 15 years of experience in project quality management.
  • 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience implementing and governing quality managed services for global IT solution delivery teams and a phase wise transition from incumbent vendors is required.
  • You are a very passionate leader of change who can successfully help transform the organization.
  • You are a strong and influential leader who collaborates naturally with others whatever their level in the organization. You demonstrate advanced problem solving skills which you will use to improve our consistency in areas such as Project quality planning, estimating and test automation delivery.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships at all levels of the organization. Sometimes you will be interacting at executive level and on other occasions giving advice, mentoring and guidance to quality leads on best practices. You will be comfortable and adept at tailoring messages to these diverse audiences, and are happy rolling up your sleeves to help delivery teams remove roadblocks that impede project quality when necessary.
  • Ability to exchange ideas openly with SDG leadership and EPMO peers and to solve problems in a common way. You have the presence and credibility to act as a trusted advisor.
  • You have an inquisitive disposition, are detail oriented and must be comfortable performing administrative tasks as well as the more strategic work you will be called on to undertake.
  • Pragmatism and the ability to strike the balance between the need for process ‘Do it Right’ versus the need to accelerate project delivery and not overburden teams with unnecessary administrative overhead is key.
  • Experience in delivering IT solutions using agile framework like SAFe, Scrum.
  • Your formal education ideally includes a technical degree with PMP and LSS/CQE strongly preferred.

You have a very strong background in project quality delivery and feel comfortable mentoring and guiding project teams and their leaders in industry best practice. You will directly contribute to raising the maturity level of TJX’s processes as these relate to project quality delivery. You are committed to continuous improvement activities which you will either lead or support as part of your role. Your engagement in these continuous improvement activities will significantly reduce Non Value Add ‘overhead’ and streamline our delivery process.
