Driver - Hiring Now!

POSITION SUMMARY: The Driver is responsible for delivering proper food and supplies as determined by the daily menu and meal count to sites as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving experience
• Must have a current Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violations and no more than two preventable accidents within the past twelve months.
• Must not have any convictions or citations for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with the previous five years.
• Must not have any citations or convictions for fleeing or attempting to elude police or law enforcement, commission of a felony, aggravated assault with a vehicle, vehicular homicide, hit and run or leaving the scene of an accident.
• Ability to properly lift a minimum of 75 pounds with minimal effort
• Ability to read and perform basic addition
• Ability to complete basic vehicle maintenance
• Ability to tolerate sudden and extreme changes in temperature
• Must have a State Food Handlers permit where required by state law
• Experience in delivery, with excellent defensive driving record preferred but not required
• Good customer relations skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE: 

• Pack, load, and deliver food and supplies for the meal according to route instructions
• Maintain the assigned company vehicle and equipment according to standards
• Follow all company, client and traffic policies, rules and regulations
• Maintain workplace professionalism
