Driver Local Delivery – Bulk Route [Santa Fernando, CA]


The Driver Local Delivery Bulk Route utilizes a CDL Class A and is responsible for delivering pallets of pre-sold product to large customer accounts on a predetermined route while maintaining strong customer rapport and quality service. Examples of these locations include large grocery chains and big box stores.

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position working first shift. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Position Compensation

The starting rate of pay for this position is $16.92 per hour. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc).

This position could utilize the following equipment: Tractor Trailer - Semi - Pup Trailer - Box Truck - 28 ft Trailer - 32 ft Trailer - 53 ft Trailer - Delivery Truck - Side Load - Side Bay - Trailer with lift gate - pallet jack - hand truck - dolly

This position could include: Driving - CDL - Class A CDL - Delivery Truck Driver - OTR - Delivery Driver - Customer Delivery - Commercial Driver’s License

Position Responsibilities

• Operate bulk vehicle in the delivery of Keurig Dr Pepper brands and pick up empty product transport containers or pallets in assigned accounts.
• Prepare and extend delivery tickets, showing cases placed and credits given.
• Perform accurate accounting of full and empty goods.
• Perform routine vehicle inspection and operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain good Company image in the trade and industry to achieve the Company’s objective for the overall growth and availability of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
• Notify Route Manager of any mechanical problems that occur on vendors, or any changes in account status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• 2 years of delivery experience and face to face customer interaction
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• 21 years of age or older
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and driver’s license
