Drafter/Engineering Technician

Aerotek is currently seeking entry level (0-3 year) engineering technicians for long term opportunities in the Kansas City Area.

We have several clients with openings, looking for technicians who are proficient in either AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or GIS.

Primary responsibilities include using CAD equipment to provide support to engineers, landscape architects and surveyors by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for construction. Makes simple decisions but refers most questions/problems to engineers or supervisor.

Projects include telecom work and/or civil federal projects.
