Quality Assurance Tech - Full-time / Part-time

With the direction of the QA Supervisor this position is responsible for:

-2nd shift and 3rd shift

-M-F, with some weekends

-Comfortable working in a cold environment
-Execute product inspection for package seal integrity
-Collect samples for Hold and Release products as needed
-Execute various tests and analytical procedures related to the line and product inspection,verification of current process against standard operating procedures, shelf life testing and sensory evaluations, auditing and monitoring plant sanitation, auditing and monitoring plant
compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
-Inspecting outbound shipments and monitoring compliance with production, handling and storage policy and procedure.
-Auditing and monitoring compliance customer specifications.
-Assist in the investigation and solving of quality problems and foreign objects. -Overseeing production's on line quality checks. Showing initiative to proactively bring solutions to his/her
supervisor
-Conduct facility inspections, monitor process against compliance to specifications / QAPs and SQF requirements.
