A day in the life...

The ideal executive assistant is motivated, results oriented and committed to delivering outstanding customer service every day. Typical job duties will include:
  • Ability to multi-task in changing environment

  • Proficient in system programs required to perform job duties (Concur, Service Now, Group ID, Jira/Confluence, other)
  • Proficient in Office Suite products required to perform job duties
  • Self-Motivator, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in creative problem solving
  • Skilled in Office Administration processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Team Player
Administrative Support (VP/Sr. Directors) & Teams
  • Manage calendar for Sr. Directors or Directors
  • Travel Requests for Sr. Directors/Directors
  • Corp Card Reconciliation - Sr. Directors/Directors
  • Create & maintain dept. Org. Charts if required
  • Maintain Dept. Outlook DL if required
  • Administrative Support for entire team/floor
  • Submit Service Now request for teams
  • Other duties as assigned
Event Planning - Team Meetings
  • Schedule Location and/or Conference Room
  • Schedule Resources as required
  • Laptop
  • Blue Jeans (Video/Audio)
  • Arrange for catering/box lunches for meetings or social team events
Other Admin Duties
  • Participate in Admin meetings
  • Participate in Department Meetings as required
  • Participate in Technology Recognition Meetings
  • Participate in Training
You own this if you have...
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience
  • Nordstrom or other retail experience
  • Finance experience
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, peers and leadership
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent training and/or experience
